Realistic Solutions to Gas Prices

Let me be clear from the beginning.  It is my firm belief that whales (yes, the large water mammals) serve no purpose.  They eat too much, they waste space, they breathe air that could be better used for important things like balloons, and they do not contribute to the general well-being of the planet.  Thus, I propose that many of the energy crises faced by this world could be solved through the indiscriminate harvest of whale blubber.  If the indigenous people of Alaska could survive the year by means of whale hunting, think how much better we could employ whale carcasses now with our advanced technology.  Whale blubber, rendered into whale oil, could be used to turn turbines, to run automobiles, to heat homes, to fuel weapons, and things yet undiscovered.   What is more, the advancement in cloning technology ensures that rather than facing extinction, the new need for whales would demand the creation of whale clones.  They would share an iconic status rivaling that of the Cowboy’s Horse or the Native American’s Buffalo.

The best part though: Exxon Mobile could change its name to Exxon Moby and Shell could be Shamu.
